in a love comedy... course the hero ;) if its harem or ecchi, all the more reason

f

Quote by RyuSBible black .............what?!

roflmao, thats one of the best answers here XD

*ahem*
me, Magikano (saying i like the ending, but so far its all good)
good characters, good episodes, whats not to like

f

it really depends on the show, dont mind them really.

action ones like bleach and naruto always have put them in during the fight scene (followed by hero/villlian powers up), then theres ones like love hina or magikano with some of the best parts of the series comming from the fillers. without the fillers i prolly wouldnt have like tsukihime (park ep, one of the best parts of the show ;) ) and fate/stay as much as i do. PoT had some of the best fillers with teni puri

f

saying shes already cute, hot, sexy, or whatever u wanna use...
i'm for the legs.

f

this is more about taste really. for slam dunk it might be more about "time".

i dont really care for Abe's work (aside from this one lain pic) but it has its fans.
clamp is another style i dont really care for. *gets stoned by clamp fans*

f

first might have been either macross or DBZ, i forget

the white VHS BlueSEED tapes are what pulled me in.

if your talking about the magic club girl then...
as taishi from comic party would say... MY BROTHER! XD

although mine has to go to simca from airgear.
although i worry that i wont like the anime ver. like i did with TenTen's aya and maya.

Quote by LaevantineResident Evil is nowhere as scary as Silent Hill and Fatal Frame, at least you've got guns.

agreed, but hill gave you guns, a big ass knife, mace that you couldnt swing and then baseball swings in 4.

but the first (remake counts aswell right?) was the scariest. hunters, then crimson heads plus it had atmoshpere. although the remake gets a point off cause of the tazer. that just made it fun to be caught and tazering the tyrant is just frickn cool.

f

earthbound

hero getting homesick should say it all. it also showed us that teddy bears can be amazing things and that pray commands are somewhat useful.

f

if rejection was so tragic, then yes, LH is just as much a tragedy as ichigo. that'd also make about every romance title tragic. *i'm NOT saying that Love Hina OR Ichigo 100% IS btw*

tragedy shouldnt be aya not being able to clearly say "i love you" to manaka, that was her own fault (remember, i read from start to end, so dont say it... i know). tradegy is aya just about to say "i love you" and being hit by a car and dying or something.

(i'd go into the story more, i'd just rather not spoil anything just incase)

f

Quote by EvinusThey also edited the pervert blood, it makes no sense for a pervert to fall over in anime WITHOUT a nose bleed.

that joke doesnt work in america. it wouldnt make any sense to people that dont understand what it means.

Any way one thing I havent heard was budokai I dont blame every one that the game that sucks the most jaja you cant jump cant move where you want to go songs fighting styles or in other words battle sistem sucks all the way . Now the only reason this game sell a lot is because the buyers are either super fan of dragon ball or they whatch the cartoon and they want to do what they do whew* I think I said to much XD

actually, budokai 3 was done really well (that thing after that... no...). played the first, good god that was horrible. skipped the 2nd, then tried the 3rd. felt the most like what a fighting game should come close to. sure super smash brothers has much more options attack wise, but still, with what was given, they did an impressive job.

Quote by Jenembasoul caliber all the way back to soul blade is alot better than doa why since the first doa the same characters have stayed within the game since the first with the exception of.....4-5 characters it's nothing different i mean sure alot of interactive boards, yea (claps hands) but none the less soul blade has more to offer than doa has to in my opinion

i can give u that about the first doa.. but they did improve themselves (gameplay wise) over each game (well, i forget what happened with 3 aside from brad and christie).
SC 3 went down compared to the other 2 and the only replay it has for it is the CAW and meybe that mini game (which isnt a fighting game if im correct)

f

yes i have read it all
and no, its not.
on that basis, Love Hina is also tragic.
love on the other hand... that i can agree with. up until i read this, I''s was one of my fav titles.

tragic goes to something like Saikano

f

its kinda hard to beat the mangas... but ill name some animes that do anyway
although aside from some of the animation, Ichigo 100% came close (i liked some the changes they made storywise)
PoT is better anime than manga (sure they changed some parts, but it really came out well thanks to that)
School Rumble is another
Azumanga as well

f

be called Igniz (voice actor included)
then have kick a$$ music like sephy had in FF7 (or jenova)

or just be at lvl 1200 like that dude in makai kingdom...

f

DoA... fav... boucy... hehe, nah, its not just that >_>
fast, but not too fast. simple to pick up and learn, yet mashing wont take you so far. it has a ninja that does a cool throw. now comes with a nicer tweaked counter sys.

SC, loved it on DC, 2 was good as well. put down 3 after a couple days.

tekken, meh. the combos really turned me off this game. never liked the gameplay much either.

VF, i know its for the hardcore, but never liked that series much to begin with.

-kof, SF or GG should have no part of this thread btw. and i love some of those way more than any of these title

f

as much as i love playing them... no
companies would just be throwing their money away. the US market and love-sims just doesnt mix yet.

we did get thousand arms for PSX
best chance they might have is something like Lime-ero or comic party

f

it'd be alot more helpful to have some idea on your taste instead of "just anything but shoujo".
my friends ask to lend them anime to watch and only end up liking 1 or 2 things from a range of titles. although i've yet to pass them something yaoi or shounen-ai (2 scary terms, stay away from them for now) to them... hehe...

-i'd stick to the mainstream stuff for now (the "mainstream" thread has some titles im pretty sure)

f

wha?
i can think of more animes that end "happy" rather than sad (either that or you stop before the credits roll).

Quote by unicorn2006I think a distinction between 'bad' and 'sad' should be made. Bad endings are not always unhappy/sad ones.

By using elements of tragedy the creators avoid cliche, all-is-well endings that can leave the viewer unimpressed and unaffected. The sad components usually affect the audience emotionally and can even be thought-provoking; don't you also think tragedy can be beautiful?

thank you, im glad someone said it.

animes ending badly are shows like beserk, most gainax shows (not including FLCL, well IMO at least), recca... some others that dont come to mind... shows that are good, or decent that get the shaft at the end.

f

teacher, twins was a bit heavy on the lolli

and hazuho ownz any of the twin's cast.

f

Gundam SEED - endless HARO

that way they could do a haro w/ tori wings shadow thing in the title's background.

f

a harem anime. i like how everything just falls into their laps.

meybe ichigo 100% ;)

f

SEED

i know its just another UC, but meh. "W" might have been if not for the bishys and their characters.
X had some of the best gundams though.
8th MS, frick'n gold. SEED just has more things i like.

f

well, nothing aginst them really, just find it awkward since there isnt much to talk about sometimes.
